thai restaurants?

im going to a thai restaurant today and have no idea what kind of food they have. can you tell me something good and simple that most (american) people would like on a typical thai menu?
please name the dish and describe what it is
i dont like sushi or shrimp and i dont feel like eating anything spicy today

I am a big fan of beef with vegetables and rice noodles! If you like rice some sort of rice noodle dish is a probably a safe bet.

  1. Pineapple fried rice, fantastic
Chicken curry, but that might not be your thing
Beef satay, basically beef skewers with a spicy peanut sauce! To die for

Thai food is close to chinese food.
Just order some shrimp, white rice, etc.
Look through their menu and ask them.

  4. Order chicken pad Thai or if the restaurant is vegetarian try the tofu pad Thai. It is a very delicious noodle dish with peanuts. They can make it less spicy if you prefer.

  5. Thai can be really spicy!
Some thai restaurants have regular chinese dishes like beef and broccolli. I LOVE chicken curry. Its chicken w/ veggies and white rice in a curry coconut sauce. They have spring and summer rolls, those are good too!

  6. if you don’t want spicy, as stated, then get pad thai (noodle dish with veggies meat and peanut sauce) and specify not spicy.. although pineapple fried rice is always great too..

another time when you want to try a little spice get green or red curry and tell them you want it mild
