I think the big … I think the big question is WILL it happen? I sense there’s too much fear-mongering in advance down the road and a retreat of the present to past values. I feel that this “transition” will be farther than the naked eye can see.
…and even when the tertiary sector of the economy too becomes automated, wouldn’t there be the next quaternary sector (science, research, development, invention) be dominated just as we phased into the service industry since Industrial Revolution? Unless machines do.
Robots and Machines … Robots and Machines are getting extremely more advanced. Now there are robots that look so human like you wouldn’t even tell the difference.
A few more years and Development stages these robots can be mass produced to do every single job for us, including the social jobs.
In a money exchange … In a money exchange system, there will always be room for abuse, scams and frauds, as well as bribes and so many other problems with money.
With a Resource Based Economy, someone who has 10 TV’s will not help that person make money because there would be no use for carrying 10 TV’s
Besides TV’s would be phased out, and Holographic devices would replace them.
People have no clue how much far our technology as evolved. Because people are uneducated on what is available today.
Not everyone can … Not everyone can become business owners, You can’t just have all millions of businesses.
Technology is causing more unemployment 5 times faster than jobs are being created, The number is probably bigger than 5 but still people can’t find a way to get money in this economic system.
I’ve been trying for years and nothing works for me. I’ve tried starting a business and it cost so much money just to start one. Even if you do take some risks.
Well the dilemma … Well the dilemma here is either be a slave or be devoid of any means to stay alive. If technological unimployment is inevitable and all you have left are owners and boss (employers) with machines that does the job instead of us consumers (employees) then we become laid off without purchasing power. Then the only solution (assuming the same system) is go the way of Robert Kiyosaki and start our own businesses and investments and everyone becomes owners/boss except we too have machines instead.
@ProsperityGlobal … @ProsperityGlobal Both are just forms of control. The united states income tax is actually illegal and unconstitutional, you can look at modern court cases. And if they hold back technology so that people can still afford to buy things it is legitimately a form of slavery, in which we are only given enough to get by in life, and we would essentially be stuck in a single socio-economic position.
What do you mean by … What do you mean by “Wealthy” the top 1%?.
We all already pay Taxes and other fees, If Technological Unemployment goes the way many say it will a Universal Basic Income is the only way to maintain the publics purchasing power, either that or they hold back Technology in order to maintain privialiged posistion.
good, let all the … good, let all the Corporations Automate they will have to accept that there will need to be a redistribution of wealth of in order for any kind of “Capitalism” to continue, I also believe that many large industries should be nationalised.
a UBI is just the next step, for instance most First World nations have some sort of System of “Social Security” i.e. Pensions.
This is evolution, just as in the late 18 Century we had the begining of the Industrial Revolution.
Your solution would … Your solution would work until you work into the equation that corporate goals is to maximize profit, minimize costs. that means spending $10,000 on a machine that can work around the clock is more effective then spending $20,000 on an employee to do the same job. And a Universal Basic Income goes totally against a free market economy. So its a good idea, but it would never be considered by the established order.
1. Intorduce a … 1. Intorduce a Universal Basic Income
2. Gradually shorten the Work week.
3. More shool leavers in Further Education, therefore a more educated Workforce.
Yes, i agree, but … Yes, i agree, but in our current system it perpetuates poverty. Eventually it would put too many people out of work, there wouldn’t be people to buy new products, so the remaining people employed would lose their jobs, and you would have the owners, and the consumers (who couldn’t consume). In which case they would be forced to beg for scraps by the people who own everything. Which would be a form of slavery. Hypothetically.
what’s worst they … what’s worst they BLATANTLY admit to increased sales (just might as well say we’ve found a way to TRICK you into buying more than what you’ll actually eat!!!!) Can’t ppl see all this tech instead of liberating us is being used to further enslave our minds?? when the are ppl gonna wake up, is my question!
More technological … More technological unemployment….. making it harder to get jobs, ever lowering the socio-economical status of those in the service industry.

I agree with you mostly, but its stupid to think the wealthy will give up any portion of their wealth.
