Does English cuisine exist. Every English restaurant has French, Italian etc on the menu?

If anyone can recommend a good true English restaurant in London, I would be grateful

I haven’t seen anything continental at Cooks pie and mash shop,
the Evening Standard do many restaurant reviews, recently -
The Guinea Grill serves traditional British food.
Putney Pies a welcome outpost of Britishness

im going to an italian restaurant tonight and i don’t know what to order?

im going to an italian restaurant tonight and i dont know what to order. they specialize in their homeade whole wheat pasta and there are so many choices… here is the menu if you scroll down bottom left the signature dishes

http://www.pasta-eria.com/takeout%20menu08.pdf

i seriously dont know what to order…. tomato sauce? marsala sauce? garilc and oil?

I’d order the Homemade Rigatoni Cremosa and ask them to make it with whole wheat rigatoni, since they have it. I like to be able to taste the pasta through the sauce. Most of their pastas have too many ingredients for me. Enjoy your dinner.

What is currently missing from a restaurant booking system?

I’m thinking of creating an online restaurant booking system and would like to make it using a graphical interface as opposed to text based. There would be navigation between menus and a visually appealing interface. I’m interested in finding out how the system can be improved from the current ones already available.

Well you might consider adding something like if it’s a special occasion, a note system that allows you to recognize the regular customers and their preferences, allergies etc so maybe the chef can provide a complimentary appetizer or dessert for example, or the bartender could have their preferred wine or drink ready when they arrive,…probably suggestions for higher end restaurants as opposed to casual dining. But you will have deeper pockets to sell to. It’s especially useful if a person entertains clients, or if he brings his wife and mistress to the same establishment, and the little details make all the difference in a waitresses/waiters tips and a special tip for the host/hostess who remembers them and provides them their favorite table etc.

What amendment protects restaurants from being forced to post health info on their menus?

Like calories and fat and stuff

@james, rotflmao
there is nothing in US Constitution that protects restaurants ,but there may be something in state constitutions

Anyways ,what is wrong with knowing how many calories there are in restaurant foods.

Problems you may face running a chicken fast food restaurant?

I am planning to open a chicken fast food restaurant and i want to know what kind of challenges and obstacles i may face in running such a restaurant on a day to day basis. What kind of items can i put on the menu?

Offer items, types of chicken, sauces, side dishes and other items the main stream KFC, Popeye’s and other now offer, delivery is another thing as it reaches many area not near your operation, as chef I opened several places, not FF but some worked and some did not, it may sound strange to say start out smaller and expand as business grows and demand increases that way your capital is not all sunk into the oversized and not functioning business, also develop recipes and ideas not common to the others. I would spend about $500 and do a market research mailing, send out letter with a small questionnaire to ask about the restaurant, food, hours of service and location, with a stamped return envelop, this way you can gauge the response and how to go forward with the venture.
