San Carlo Italian Restaurant | Manchester City Centre

San Carlo is a small Italian restaurant chain with a huge reputation. Sunday Times food critic AA Gill described it as the best Italian restaurant outside London and the chain now has venues in Birmingham, Bristol, Leicester, Manchester and most recently London itself. Manchesters San Carlo is on King Street West and its fair to say that with its striking interior design, stylish lounge bar area and 220-cover dining space that this is the groups flagship venue one that wouldnt look out of place in Manhattan. The emphasis is on classic Italian food cooked fresh to order with fish and seafood a speciality. As well as the main menu theres a specials board that changes daily and a good wine list that is 95% Italian. San Carlo is open every day from 12 noon till 11pm
