Restaurant using food and wine menu, can i do anything so they can’t use it?

I was a partner at a restaurant but the partnership felt through. They are still using the food and wine menu that I created, can i do anything so they can’t use it?

Talk to a lawyer. It depends on the terms of your contract. If you didn’t have a contract, or an agreement upon the disolution of the partnership…. You probably have to suck it up and let them keep it.

Problems you may face running a chicken fast food restaurant?

I am planning to open a chicken fast food restaurant and i want to know what kind of challenges and obstacles i may face in running such a restaurant on a day to day basis. What kind of items can i put on the menu?

Offer items, types of chicken, sauces, side dishes and other items the main stream KFC, Popeye’s and other now offer, delivery is another thing as it reaches many area not near your operation, as chef I opened several places, not FF but some worked and some did not, it may sound strange to say start out smaller and expand as business grows and demand increases that way your capital is not all sunk into the oversized and not functioning business, also develop recipes and ideas not common to the others. I would spend about $500 and do a market research mailing, send out letter with a small questionnaire to ask about the restaurant, food, hours of service and location, with a stamped return envelop, this way you can gauge the response and how to go forward with the venture.

Indian Resaurant in Bali or Restaurant that have indian food on its menu ?

Hi, i’m in Bali right now for the next 2 weeks, i am planning to have some dinner at restaurant that providing an indian food.
It would be nice if there is any "real" indian restaurant with maybe indian dance performance or music. My girlfriend love it very much .

I suggest you to try Queens of India at kartika, if you stay around Kuta beach, or Queens Tandoor, located near made’s warung in seminyak. Both are the same food quality and trully indian restaurant with movie (big screen) and music. There is also near bemo corner, Gateway of india, but i dont know, i never try it.. also it is a bit small (really small) place/restaurant i guess.

Just because a fast-food restaurant has a drive-thru does it make it a fast food restaurant?

I disagree with this statement. I believe that a fast-food restaurant is one which has food made in quantity beforehand and where you must go up to a menu upfront and order your food.

BK used to have cheesy-tots on the menu in my area. they are now discontinued, how do I get my cheesy-tots back?
Also I’d like if their Italian chicken sandwich became a regular menu item.
Any advise on how to approach this would be appreciated.
P.S. I already tried the Burger King website.

Well there is no easy answer. You can request it till your blue in the face but until they get an overwhelming demand they won’t do it. Ever heard the term "back by popular demand" means alot of people were asking for it.

I am doing a project for school where i have to create a hypothetical business. my business is a bistro (restaurant) i am trying to create a menu (not the whole menu just a few basic items). i need some more ideas of what food items to have for lunch so please list the food that you most often get from restaurants for lunch!

Generally, I will get a pizza or pasta. My favorite may be either tortelli di zucca con burro e salvia (pumpkin filled pasta with a butter and sage sauce) or risotto parimigiano all’balsamico (rice with parmigiano reggiano cheese and a balsamic vinegar sauce) though. I often get spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino on days when it’s on the menu. Today I had sedani con speck e panna. When I get pizza, it’s often either pancetta e grana (Italian bacon and parmigiano reggiano cheese) or gorgonzola pizza. I always have an espresso after the meal.

If an organic food restaurant opened in your area would you be interested in it?

I am doing a little research about opening an organic food restaurant in the Chicago land area. I was just curious as to if anyone would be interested in this. The restaurant would use all organic foods including product and grass feed meats. There would also be vegetarian and vegan meals on the menu as well.

I would give it a go but I would want value for money, meaning it couldn’t be be expensive meals because of the organic ingredients, or tiny portions to keep the prices down.

We are a group of students in New Orleans who want to rethink and rebuild our schools after Hurricane Katrina. Our vision is simple: a great education for every kid in our city, no matter the color of their skin, what neighborhood they stay in or how much money their parents make.

In early 2006, a group of community organizers, artists, architects, media experts and educators began organizing Rethink. In mid-2006, they brought twenty middle school students (us) together for our first summer school. Our time away from home during Katrina had been scary but eye-opening. For the first time most of us saw school bathrooms with toilet paper and soap; libraries with books and hallways with lockers. It made us realize what good schools actually look like.

Rethinkers come from all over New Orleans. Most of the kids are middle schoolers. We have high school interns and one prethinker who is only nine years old. We are writers and photographers and designers and public speakers. We host a press conference every summer to express our concerns and offer innovative solutions. Last year our press conference was called “A Spork in the Road.” We talked about food and cafeterias. One of our major suggestions was to incorporate more local food into school menus. We are now in the process of working with the Recovery School District to make this vision a reality.
